Go-karting in St Petersburg in autumn: five indoor tracks, race prices and who is allowed to drive

In St Petersburg in autumn, go-karting means indoor tracks, often inside shopping centres: outdoor circuits lose their appeal in the rain and early dusk, but under a roof the season never ends. Ten minutes on the track is more tiring than it looks, which is why karting works best as an evening out with friends or colleagues: a few races, lap times on the screen, dinner afterwards.

On 19 October 2026 we checked five indoor tracks on the clubs' own websites — Primo on Magnitogorskaya Street and four clubs of the Pit-Stop chain: addresses and how to get there, opening hours, weekday and weekend prices, race length, and the rules on age, height and clothing. Prices change, so check the club's website before you go.

🏁 Primo: eight minutes on track near Ladozhskaya metro

Primo is an independent club rather than part of a chain, and it shows: the track is 350–370 m long depending on the layout, with high-grip asphalt and French Sodi karts. The circuit is in an enclosed, heated building within walking distance of Ladozhskaya metro, at 51 Magnitogorskaya Street, with the entrance from Energetikov Prospekt. It is open daily from 11:00 to 23:00 and has a café serving Italian food.

A race lasts 8 minutes and costs 1,800 roubles on weekdays and 2,100 roubles at weekends and on holidays. For a group there is a 9-driver race: 16,000 roubles on weekdays and 19,000 at weekends — cheaper than nine separate tickets. A helmet, race suit and balaclava are included; shoes, disposable gloves and socks are available on request.

Important: at Primo booking by phone is compulsory, and you need to arrive an hour before your race for registration, the safety briefing and kit. If you turn up later than 30 minutes before, your booking is cancelled and you join the walk-in queue. Junior karts are for drivers aged 8+ and 130–150 cm tall; adult karts are for those from 151 cm.

🏎 Pit-Stop Premium on Zanevsky: a big track by the same metro

The second option near Ladozhskaya is Pit-Stop Premium at 65 Zanevsky Prospekt, building 1, a five-minute walk from the metro next to the O'Key hypermarket. The chain describes it as a large premium-class indoor circuit. It is open daily from 12:00 to 23:00.

An adult 10-minute race costs 1,900 roubles from Monday 16:00 to Thursday and 2,200 roubles from Friday to Sunday. The cheapest slot is Monday from 12:00 to 15:45: 1,200 roubles if you register in the club's app. A junior race (age 8+) costs 1,800 and 2,000 roubles, and a two-seater kart for children aged 5–8 with an instructor costs 2,400.

Two tracks by one metro station are easy to compare: Primo's races are shorter but cheaper, Pit-Stop gives you more minutes.

🛞 Pit-Stop Pulkovo and Pit-Stop Drive: south and north

Pit-Stop Pulkovo, the chain's first club, opened in 2008 in the Pulkovo-3 shopping centre at 15 Sheremetyevskaya Street. From Moskovskaya metro take bus 39, 150, 155, 187 or 301 to the Vnukovskaya Ulitsa stop. The track has a rubberised surface, runs anticlockwise and hosts amateur and professional races. An adult race costs 1,800 roubles up to Thursday and 2,000 roubles from Friday to Sunday; on Mondays from 12:00 to 15:45 it is 1,100 with the app.

Pit-Stop Drive has been running since 2013 in the Rodeo Drive shopping centre at 1 Kultury Prospekt, reached by surface transport from Ozerki or Akademicheskaya metro. Prices are the same: 1,800 roubles Monday to Thursday and 2,000 Friday to Sunday, and 1,100 roubles on Wednesdays from 12:00 to 15:45. Both clubs have a stricter weight limit than the others: 110 kg instead of 120.

🎳 Pit-Stop Revo: karting and bowling under one roof

The chain's newest format is a centre at 5 Mebelnaya Street, a 900 m walk from Staraya Derevnya metro, with karting, bowling and billiards. An adult race costs 2,100 roubles up to Thursday and 2,200 from Friday to Sunday, and 1,500 on Monday afternoons with the app. If not everyone in your group wants to drive, the others can bowl — more on the city's bowling alleys in our St Petersburg bowling guide.

The chain also has an outdoor track, Pit-Stop Narvskaya, by the Kirovets stadium — but in autumn rain that is for enthusiasts only. And in the LeoMall shopping centre on Planernaya Street the chain is opening a seventh club with electric karts; on 19 October its website listed it as "opening soon".

💸 How much to budget for an evening

Your first race is mostly about getting to know the kart: the opening laps go on learning the brake and the corners. For real competition and lap-time comparison, plan on two races per person. A group of four on a weekday evening will spend 14,400–16,800 roubles on two races each at Pit-Stop, or 14,400 roubles for eight 8-minute races at Primo. With registration, the briefing and waiting, allow an hour and a half to two hours.

🧭 Good to know

📌 In short

✅ Five indoor tracks: Primo on Magnitogorskaya, Pit-Stop Premium on Zanevsky, Pit-Stop Pulkovo, Pit-Stop Drive on Kultury Prospekt and Pit-Stop Revo on Mebelnaya.

✅ Primo: 8 minutes for 1,800 roubles on weekdays and 2,100 at weekends, daily 11:00–23:00; arrive an hour before your race.

✅ Pit-Stop: 10 minutes for 1,800–2,100 roubles Monday to Thursday and 2,000–2,200 Friday to Sunday, daily 12:00–23:00.

✅ The cheapest slots are Monday afternoons (Wednesday at Drive) with the app: from 1,100 roubles.

✅ For an evening with friends, budget two races per person and an hour and a half to two hours.

Karting is a rare way to spend a rainy evening so that afterwards everyone talks about lap times, not the weather; for calmer options in bad weather see our guide to St Petersburg in the rain. Checked on 19 October 2026 against the websites of Primo and the Pit-Stop karting chain.
