Europe's highest observation deck sits at 365 metres, on floors 83 to 86 of the Lakhta Center tower in northern Saint Petersburg. You cannot simply walk in. Access is sold as a timed event, tickets exist only on the official site lakhta.center, and card payment is the only option — no cash, anywhere.
Two formats, four price bands
The audio-guide visit covers exhibitions on floors 3 and 4, then a high-speed shuttle to floor 83; groups of up to 15 people, up to 60 minutes. Prices: 1400 roubles on weekdays 10:00–17:00, 1600 on weekdays 17:00–21:00, 1800 at weekends, on public holidays and during school breaks.
The guided visit adds floor 86, a welcome service in a comfort lounge, extra photo time and a postcard you can send from 365 metres; groups of up to ten people, up to 90 minutes. Prices for the same three time bands: 3000, 3500 and 4000 roubles. Early booking is a separate flat product: 3000 roubles with an audio guide, 5000 with a guide. Children under three are free. Concession fares (1000 / 1100 / 1300 roubles) apply to the audio-guide format only and require a passport plus a supporting document valid on the date of the visit.
Entrance 13 and the 15-minute rule
The address is 1 Vysotnaya Street, but you need Entrance 13 (coordinates 59.987111, 30.178101). You may enter no earlier than 15 minutes before your slot — there is no waiting area — and if you are more than 15 minutes late, the ticket is cancelled with no refund. Security screening is mandatory; refusing it also voids the ticket. Drones, weapons, alcohol, food, glass bottles, scooters and oversized bags are banned and cannot be left in the cloakroom, so leave them at the hotel. You may bring a sealed plastic bottle of up to 0.5 litres. Photography is fine without flash, tripods or monopods; staff and security must not be photographed.
Practical points
Visitors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Prams stay on floor 3, as the lift capacity is limited. Wheelchair users can visit, but safety rules do not allow them up to floor 86 on the guided programme; extra time on floor 83 is offered instead. There is no guest parking at the tower — take a taxi or public transport, and allow for roughly 20 minutes on foot from the metro.
The deck stays open in fog and rain, and the programme is designed not to depend on visibility, so bad weather is not a refund reason. A full refund is possible only while more than 24 hours remain before the session, by e-mail to [email protected] with a refund application, the ticket scan and the receipt. Within 24 hours, refunds require documents proving illness or a family bereavement. Tickets cannot be exchanged or moved to another date, a maximum of five per order, and you cannot add tickets to an existing order. Buy only on lakhta.center: the official site warns that any other seller may be a scam.
