The Mikhailovsky Garden is a rare monument of landscape architecture dating back to the 18th century. Two different landscape styles — the formal (French) and natural (English) — are uniquely combined on a single territory. The garden includes Mikhailovsky Palace, the main building of the Russian Museum architectural complex. The Imperial Gardens of Russia International Festival is annually held in the Mikhailovsky Garden since 2008. Since that time it
has become a true feast for both residents and visitors of Saint-Petersburg and a significant event in the city’s cultural life.
Last admission 30 minutes before closing.
